These pictures are taken at mines resort where we spent a night there after Samuel’s magic show. It is a very nice, peaceful and relaxing place to be..especially when we’re staying there with our loved ones…The scenery are just so fabulous and it is just so nice to lepak there, reading newspaper, book, or even to do some cam-whoring..kekeke…It would be my prefered place to stay next time..that is if we have sponsorship..wakakaka,…
As we celebrate CHRISTMAS this year, let us remember those who are less fortunate like in this email; the special children…this is an event organize by my sister in KL, do support it whenever and however we can,eg: prayer, donation, or even by attending this event…a small little prayer will make a different and a small little smile as we attend the event will also make a different…
let’s remember those who are less fortunate…
Dear Friends,
We would like invite you to join us in our Christmas celebration this year. Our event themed “A Special Christmas and YOU" will be held at our Center in Petaling Jaya on Friday the 28th of December 2007 from 6 PM to 10.00 PM.
“A Special Christmas and YOU” is simply a way to appreciate special needs children and to let them have this joyful night together. This event is organized to bring special needs children from several organizations together and to help them celebrate their uniqueness and their strengths. We intend to help these children cherish this Christmas by providing them the opportunity to feel blessed and appreciated. Our aim is to put a smile on their faces this Christmas, and we are very confident we can achieve this with the help from special people like you. Our theme emphasizes the "special" in them, in the kind people and organizations coming together to celebrate with these children, and the season of giving that has become almost universal.
There is NO ADMISSION FEE for this event, but we would invite you to sponsor or contribute monetary and/or in kind gifts towards this celebration. Monetary contributions will go towards the dietary needs of the children, Christmas gifts/prizes for them, lucky draws and so forth. We truly want to make this a memorable evening for these children. For that reason, we would like to appeal to your generosity and request your kind contribution towards making this event a success.
We trust you will agree with us that these children are indeed special and deserving our attention and appreciation no more or less during this wonderful season of joy and of sharing. We are confident with your support, we will be able to meet our goal, which is to bring a touch of magic into the lives of all who will participate in this celebration of "A Special Christmas and YOU." We look forward to a favorable response from you. For ourselves and for the children, do allow us to thank you in advance your helping us make this indeed a Special Christmas for a Special group of people.
CHARITY CARNIVAL
As part of the effort to raise fund for the special kids, we will be having a charity carnival
this 8 & 9 December 2007, from 9AM to 3PM in our center.
We have food, games and art craft waiting for you and your family.
If you have items to donate to the needy, please also contact us.

Lemon Remedies :
Buying a sweet lemon :
Some lemons are sweeter than others. A rule of thumb for selecting a lemon that is both sweet and high in mineral content is to pick one that has a high specific gravity measurement and is heavy for its size. By comparing equal-sized fruit, the one with the greatest weight will have the most mineral content and sugar. A thick skinned lemon will not be as heavy as a thin skinned lemon and will not have the desired sweetness or mineral content.
The method I use to ensure the purchase of sweet lemons is to look at the stem end of the lemon. There are two ends on the lemon. One end has a point where the blossom started to grow; the other end has a stem or a dimple where the stem used to be located. On the stem end of a highly mineralized, sweet lemon, you will see little lines radiating out of the stem like sunbeams. These little lines can look like a star shaped structure and is called a calyx. The calyx may have three, four, five or more points to the star. The greater the number of points on the calyx, the higher the mineral content of the lemon.

I got this from William (Wesley’s youth counsellor)…I think this is a good article and would like to share it with all.. it is about G.R.A.C.E.
Before that, let me share with you something….
I was talking to Samuel the other day, regarding hurts and disappointment in relationship..the question is " What will you do if you are hurt by your partner? Will you revenge (hurt your partner back the same way he/she hurt you) or tell them that you are hurt by their actions or will you just walk away(break up)?"
At the very beginning, I actually told him that i will revenge (which is not such a good response and word to use; I repent!!!
) then after discussion, i decided that i will not revenge…Neither will I walk away without putting effort to mend the relationship. I will first talk to him about what i felt is wrong or is hurting me, then if the same thing happen again and again for like…XXX times or more, then I will decide to see if I should really walk away…(This doesn’t just apply to relationship with our partner, but for everything, for everyone..)
There certainly should not be any revenge in a relationship, be it in a marriage, friendship or relationship…Revenge is not something we ought to do, we are to LOVE and to be forgiving,in this case, it is also giving G.R.A.C.E.. We should not hurt the other party back, not with our actions or words…Hurtful words can be very damaging and it is really hurtful, it will leave a scar, some, a few scars or scars that are too deep that only God can cure..Words that come out from out tongue can be of support, building a person up OR of hurts, which can bring a person down. Thus, be very careful of the words that come out from our mouth, instead of using it to hurt people, why not use it to encourage, support, love, and build up a person? The same goes with our actions, instead of doing it to hurt a person and at the same time, hurting yourself, why not use it to bring glory to God? Shine for Him and show His love to others through our actions?
To use our words and actions wisely, we need grace and to have grace, we need God (it might sound a bit too holy, but i think it is true)…
As for me, i am still learning..not to revenge by actions or words, but to love a person and the people around me with G.R.A.C.E., L.O.V.E., and M.E.R.C.Y.. For all of us need grace…
Do spend sometime reading the material below, it is sent by William…Hope that you all are blessed thru this…Let us all learn to give grace, I am learning…and still learning… Grace is hardest when we are accused of something we know isn’t true. We can’t really forgive until we see ourselves “forgiven” by God. And with HIS Grace and strength we will overcome the evil intentions of our heart for personal revenge. May God heal all of us as we go to HIM daily. May God be with us.
The Root of Bitterness
TGIF Today God Is First, by Os Hillman
See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. -
Hebrews 12:15
The enemy of our souls has a very specific strategy to destroy relationships. Whether these relationships are in business, marriage, or friendships, the strategy is the same. A conflict arises, judgments are made, and feelings are hurt. What happens next is the defining point of whether the enemy gains a foothold, or the grace of God covers the wrong.
When a root of bitterness is allowed to be planted and grown, it not only affects that person, but it also affects all others who are involved. It is like a cancer.
Breaking satan
‘
s foothold requires at least one person to press into God
‘
s grace. It cannot happen when either party "feels" like it, for none of us will ever feel like forgiving. None of us feel like talking when we have been hurt. Our natural response is to withdraw or lash out at the offending party. It is only obedience that allows God
‘
s grace to cover the wrongs incurred. This grace prevents the parties from becoming victims who will seek compensation for their pain.
The next time you are hurt by someone, realize the gravity of the crossroads where you find yourself. Choose grace instead of bitterness. Then you will be free to move past the hurt, and a root of bitterness will not be given opportunity to grow.

Last weekend was indeed a great weekend…20-21 October. Went back to Taiping to celebrate my mum and younger brother’s birthday.. Hit 3 birds with one stone: mum’s birthday + younger bro’s birthday + family reunion.. haha..it was fun because everyone was back home and it’s just like CNY. Not all the time where we can gather together on weekend or even public holiday as our family members are scattered all over; Taiping, Penang and KL and everyone is busy most of the time, thus, we have different schedule..but because this year, we’re celebrating 2 birthdays at the same time, we have make sure that we’ll be back to Taiping during that weekend, simply means, drop everything you have that weekend and go home..no regret in going home, well, Home Sweet Home..everytime I’m back home, I’m pampered and showered with lots and lots of food, especially all those healthy food..haha..thanks to my mum.. Neway, we had a birthday party for my younger bro (SH) and he invited his friends over, here and there, balloons and decoration everywhere…thanks to Samuel whom sponsored those balloons and decorations..kakaka… And yeap, mum and sis’s cooking was great too..yummy! I can see in my mum and dad’s face = happiness and gladness! All their children are grown ups and can take care of themselves (tho we’re always baby in their eyes) … Mum, never stop smiling.. Dad, never stops smiling too… haahaha… I guess they’re both happy because we’re all home… And I thank God for His has put me in this family….
Raya weekend was a fun weekend, 13-16 October. While most of the people are in their hometown celebrating Raya, I flew to
Singapore for a 4 days holiday! Wheeeee~
Went there by flight; MAS, and guess what? It was sponsored by my beloved auntie Jamie…
Didn’t really do much shopping that time, most of the time was spent at home, watching
Singapore series and msn..haha…went all the way to
Singapore ; over the sea and mountain just to watch TV and msn..kakaka..
Anyway, it was a great time to chill and relax, away from work and busyness..also, it was a time to catch up with my aunt and uncle…haven’t seen them for about 10++ years until last year where we started to keep in touch again, I believe family relations are very important, no matter how far or near we are to each other, we should still keep in touch and visit each other once in a while…
Well, auntie Jamie brought me to Bugis and IMM mall, also pasar pagi..nothing much, didn’t shop much and didn’t explore
Singapore as much…I didn’t feel wasted at all but was glad throughout the whole trip..most probably because I have visited
Singapore more than 4 times this year itself..so nothing much to visit anymore..been to VIVO, Safari, Sentosa, , Bugis, Little India, Clark Quay and Boat Quay, etc…
20 Sept 2007: It’s just amazing how God works, He knows every single thing that had happened, is happening, and is going to happen…He knows me very well and He knows you very well too… Many things, in fact, in everything, only He has the say, but rest assure that no matter what He say, it is always for the best.. Below is the devotional material which my friend, Benji sent to me and the rest every morning…This material, "He is the Beginning and the End" is so timely, that i decided to post it so that many of you will be bless as well…
He Is The Beginning And The Ending "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty". Revelation 1: 8 (KJV) "ALPHA" is the first letter of the Greek alphabet, and indicates the beginning. The Lord said, "I am Alpha and Omega", that means He is the beginning and the ending. In other words, the Lord is saying, "I am the beginner and the finisher of your faith". Above all, the Lord is declaring to you and me that, "I have the first word in your situation. And I have the final word in your situation!" You could have heard of some kind of heart breaking news about your job, relationship, finance or maybe you have heard the doctor’s medical report that shocked you.
My friend, whatever you’re going through right now is just temporal only, it’s not eternal. Do not agree with your situation now, and refuse to stay in your current circumstances. Whatever you have heard from man will never remain the same forever because man doesn’t have the final word for your situation. The Lord alone has the final word for your situation. The good news is, the Lord God Almighty is in the active business of turning things around you for your good and His glory. The Bible says that the Lord took all our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, when He hung on the cross. (Matthew 8:17). He took your sickness upon His body and paid for your healing with His blood. He became poor on the cross so that you might have the abundance. He took your place on the cross, so that you can take His place and live again. You tell me now; do you still have to agree with your temporal situation and live a life that the Lord never intended for you to live? Or should you wait upon the Lord for things to change according to His final and eternal word? Dearest, you can hear much heart-breaking news from man but the Lord’s final word can change your destination and future. The Lord went to the cross not to break your heart and disappoint you, but He went to the cross to save you and give you life abundantly. He holds your future. He knows your destiny. He is the beginning and the end. For He alone has final word in your situation.
Today’s Prayer, Dear Father in heaven, Thank you so much for your leadership and Lordship in my life. My words are not enough to thank You for everything that You have done for me. Truly, You’re the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending in my life. You alone have the final word in every areas of my life. Lord, I believe man’s words are temporal but Your word are eternal. Father God, help me to focus on You at all times. Hold my hand and lead me to Your ways. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. —
Regards,
Benjamin
It’s a Year of Overflowing…
